It no longer fulfils the requirement for Info Lit and neither does the TCC exam mentioned. Before Kaplan I was enrolled at Excelsior and was told neither would work.

Are they basically forcing students to take it at Excelsior? That's $510 for the upcoming academic year, and I've heard that the course is a waste of time.

I asked my advisor at the time if there were specific sources she could recommend for transfer credit. Her reply was something along the lines of "send us a syllabus and we will let you know if it will be accepted." (avoiding my question lol) Basically, it looks like students have to do their own homework on this and ask for approval before attempting to transfer for this course (or any). EDIT: I was enrolled in BLS program and this was the case for that program. I have heard/read that other schools within EC will still accept these courses for transfer as INFO LIT (I THINK school of business may still accept PF's course)

Just wanted to followup on this, looks like you were given the wrong info futuremrsmlb. I got this back from Excelsior today about Tor College Credit's Info Lit course:

I ended up not choosing EC, so perhaps good news for others!
