Duplicate Electives? @ TESU
#1
Tongue
Hi all hope you are well.  Had a question that I wasn't sure about.
At straighterline I have taken a class called

Introduction to Business Communications - COM-02-Business Communication - BUS105

i was looking to take another class called

Fundamentals of Speech - COM-108- Introduction to Communication - COM101

Is it possible that electives can duplicate and i wont be awarded credit for the extra?
Thanks for any info. Angel

I'm assuming that you're talking about TESU? If so, those are not duplicate courses - you can tell by the TESU course numbers (COM-202 and COM-108).

Ah i see what your saying.  Both of these classes are at straighter line.  I guess what I'm asking is, when i submit these classes to TESU will they view them as duplicates?  Based on your answer I'm gearing toward no.  Apparently they are communication classes but have different course numbers.

They are completely different. At TESU, Business Comm comes in as a Communications course (depends on what degree as to where it will go), while Intro to Comm comes in as your speech requirement.
