I tried looking through the forums for information on the ECE English Composition exam but all I find is the CLEP version. Sorry if it's staring me in the face, but I was hoping for a little feedback on the exam. How hard is it, is there essay questions, how many, blah blah... :p
I'm trying to organize my exams to meet my Excelsior Business Degree requirements + easiest exams.

My understanding is, if I take the ECE English Comp exam, I cannot apply the CLEP Freshman College Comp to my degree as they cancel each other out.
So my choices seem to be:
Written Requirement:
ECE English Composition - 6 credits (3 apply to Humanities)
or
I can take ECE College Writing - 3 credits to meet the written requirement AND be able to apply CLEP Freshman College Comp 6 credits to my ARTS & SCIENCES Electives.
Am I wrong?
Thank you!

You can get the specifics from the content guide posted in the Excelsior publications page. You only get a set number of units that you can apply from English electives. I passed DANTES Technical Writing, and both CLEP exams, yet still had to do another English Composition to satisfy the WER. I opted for TESC English after reading the Excelsior content guide. TESC is more expensive but Military TA covered that for me. ICS

I believe that the 3 credit ECE exam will cancel out 3 of those credits. The ECE 3 credit exam is easy, I mean EASY. I stink at writing and still got a B. I sudied at "My Access" for about 5 hours and polished my technique there. They give you instant grading with the same software used on the real test. If you can type three 500 word essays in 3 hours, you are good. My typing skills stink also.
