ENEB Master Thread
Yikes, BadSquirrelBeta. That is not okay! It's okay to ask for assistance. It's not okay to, essentially (by the sounds of it) ask to copy an entire paper. Do your own work. If you're not confident of your writing abilities, use some of the money you've saved on an ENEB degree to pay for a tutor to help with your paper(s). Between tutor and ENEB fees, you should still be spending less than 1k on the thing, maybe even less than 500. There are also lots of free resources out there to assist with paper writing. Maybe you won't speed through an ENEB degree, but that's not the point.

The point of a degree is to showcase YOUR knowledge, not the knowledge of somebody else.

I've been asked several times in private messages to share my papers for ENEB and, for the most part, have chalked it up as new members looking to gamify the process and spam their way into a degree with someone without academic integrity giving in to the request. I never thought it was worth posting, as there will always be people trying to cheat the system, so I took no offense and just shared encouragement and wished them well (multiple times).

It felt equal to those random text messages from someone who accidentally texted you, apologized, and then asked how your day was in the hope of beginning a scam engagement.

Ultimately, someone asking to cheat off your paper or asking for you to write their paper for them is nothing new. Don't let that impact your accomplishments or state, as I would encourage you to stay focused on the next goal for the use of your energy.

BadSquirrelBeta, I'm so sorry that happened. It's so disappointing that someone would try to take advantage of your generosity to help. Sad

*Update to a previous post. I received my second degree transcript/diplomas from ENEB, and I'm in the process of getting an FCE by Validential.

I am also interested in getting an FCE done by a NACES member (just in case for government jobs). So, I also emailed IEE to confirm that I would be able to send them official copies of the transcript and diplomas for an FCE (because other students have said they were able to just send IEE official copies instead of paying extra for ENEB to send it to IEE).

Unfortunately, they told me that if a student sends IEE their official transcripts/diplomas, IEE will *not* provide official evaluations. They said they will only provide 'provisional evaluations' and made a note to mention it may not be accepted by jobs or further education. For an official evaluation, they require the school to either email them the documents or snail mail them (which, as we know, ENEB charges additional fees now for both).

Did anyone else get this email?

I don't know how I feel about this unless I have a chance to see the test and the test questions.   Obviously I think I have made it quite apparent that the choice I made with ENEB was because of now what they are calling the "Classic Methodology."

At ENEB, we understand how challenging it can be to balance your professional and academic life, and how difficult it is to find enough time to dedicate to your studies. That's why we're offering you an exceptional opportunity to ensure you don't leave your studies behind. If you haven't started studying yet or haven't been able to submit any assignments, we want to help you finish your studies in a more efficient and convenient way.

Until the 30th of June, you have the option to change your evaluation method. Instead of completing module assignments, you can choose to take a final test.

To facilitate the process of transferring your academic records, we have established a special academic fee of 99 € during this period. Once your transfer is processed, you will be able to take the test on your virtual campus from September to December. Take advantage of this opportunity as soon as possible, because starting from July, the fee will adjust to 299 €.

Thoughts?

They have admitted that they're over-enrolled right now for their programs because of the Red Friday sale. At some point, they started imposing fees for transfer credit and now this testing methodology, even though both are options that would reduce their marking load. It doesn't make a ton of sense in my head why they're adamant on nickel and diming students when they're the primary beneficiaries (from having a smaller marking load). Besides, there's more developmental value doing the individual modules and thinking through the problems rather than trying to pass through a comprehensive exam alone.
Am I understanding it correctly that someone can now get an entire degree upon passing a single 50 multiple choice exam?

Below is what I received from the email.

I thought it would be one per section. A single exam for an entire degree seems... not the best idea?

I was hoping that’s the case but it does say “It is one exam per Master or MBA”.

Hello all!

I signed onto this forum as a long term lurker after receiving this email.

This new format actually suits me perfectly.

In fact it has encouraged me to go for the double degree option now and do one degree with the exam format and the other with the report format.

What is everyone's apprehension regarding it?
