ENEB New Master Thread
Hello everyone!

I haven't been active here on Degreeforum for quite a while now, but I've been lurking for quite a while as well.

In any case, I wanted to share that I have since then finished my MBA and Master's in Project Management degrees from ENEB at the start of this year with the exam option and also received the Universidad Isabel I certificate for the degrees not long after (since I paid for the physical degrees with Apostille stamps).

In any case, I really felt that I wanted to share and emphasize what one of the recent posters here on the Master Thread posted in that Validential won't evaluate ENEB anymore, even with the UI1 certificates. Here's the response I got after paying for the evaluation for both degrees from them:

Quote:Hi mariobros1985,

We appreciate your academic evaluation order. In reviewing the documents provided, our evaluator has determined that the issuing entity is an unaccredited institution. Due to this, we’re unable to complete your evaluation. We'll process your refund and it will post to your account within 10 business days.

Regards,
Validential Support

The wiki already indicated that Validential won't evaluate ENEB anymore, anyway. I just wanted to let everyone know to not waste any more time with this evaluation company.

Or would it be better to earn both degrees directly from UMPI by doing the Sophia.org courses for 90 credits, completing the 30-credit residency, getting a BA, and then moving straight into a Master’s program? Which option is more highly respected? Will ENEB appear like a diploma mill, or will the final Master’s degree be what really counts? Also, does anyone know if UMPI’s YourPace program might eventually offer a Legal Studies degree or anything law related?

It really depends on the demographics of that person, if they're 25 and have no certs, degree, experience, then the UMPI Bachelors & Masters would be better. On the flip side, if they're 45 and have plenty of certs, experience, but missing the degree, then a couple/triple of quick ENEB programs would do the trick. You gain entry into the MAOL or MSB anyway, it's the finish that counts. YourPace doesn't have a law/legal studies option, you can always add a minor if you have enough pre-law classes that hit the minor.

I totally get that the best path depends on where someone is in their career. I’m just curious, though, has anyone actually done the “hack” with ENEB's "bachelors" and had it work out? Like, is there any proof that UMPIs' master's programs have accepted it, or is it more of a theory? I know the full bachelor’s and master’s route is the safest bet, but I’m just interested if anyone’s actually pulled off the shortcut successfully.

So a scenario could be:

Pay $200 for Sophia, $200 for SDC, then transfer - paying $1,700 for a Bachelor’s and $2,800 for the Master’s, with solid brick-and-mortar backing.

Another option, if someone already has the experience and just needs a degree to support their role, is to follow the quick ENEB double master’s route, get an agile degree, send it to ECE for a $200 evaluation, and then use it for the $2,800 MSB.

Also, how do you add a minor? Is that an easy process? For example, an MSB in Enterprising with a minor in Pre-Law?

You cannot add a minor for master's programs. And Sophia SDC is only for undergraduates. Also, MSB is $2400, not $2800.

Interesting, is this a new kind of UI1+ENEB diplomas or a real UI1 degree with diploma + transcript?

I got the same email. I asked them whether this is a máster oficial or propio, and if Ui1 will issue transcripts via WhatsApp and email. I am waiting for their reply.

"University-specific degree"; I suspect a título propio. But if the the name of the education is in a database of RUCT for this university, it may be an official degree. We shall see what they answer...

On UI1 website, there are 30 propio master programs with UNISEB. So I think we will receive a other propio degree
