History 308: Causes and Effects of the Vietnam War - No, this is lower level credit, do not take.
History 311: The Holocaust & World War II - No, this is lower level credit, do not take.
History 306: The American Civil War Era - Yes, 3 UL arts and science elective credits.

You might want to have them look again, and point out that they are UL through NCCRS (not ACE except HIS306).  You might also make sure that your advisor is looking at the correct course: HIS 306 and HIS 308 have similar LL courses (HIS 106 & HIS 108).  He/she might have gotten mixed up.
