Hello everyone. I was wondering does anyone know of a 6(maybe 7) week English 102 class? I would need for it to be online. I have looked into LSU, but there ENG 102 is mailed based. I am goin to try the English Composition w/ Essay, but would like to have a back up plan for it's not my strongest subject. ANY, help/advice would be appreciated.

I think BYU English can be completed on your time, and your own pace, I know the speech class was like that ,worth a try.

Are you still in the military? If so, I would recommend the TESC English Composition TECEP 101 Exam. The exam was 2 hours and required 4 short 1-2 paragraph responses and one longer 5'ish paragraph response. There are posts in the Instantcert discussion board that clearly define the requirements. It was easy!
I was attending TESC before I switched / finished with ECE. TESC accepted my English CLEP for all 6 credits. However when I switched ECE required a written English course. That's where I returned to TESC to complete the English TECEP. For what it's worth...

Thanks for the info. I forgot all about the TECEP. I thought it would count as English 102 at first glance but it does seem to count for 102 as well. I will contact my education center ASAP to see if it is possible to get it. I will be going overseas in a little, and I was also wondering has anyone had a problem with talking TECEP's overseas?

Hi -
Clovis Community College has a really easy English 102 course. It's twelve weeks, though, not 8 (unless you take their summer 8-week course.) In addition to being easy, it is very inexpensive! I was impressed with the teacher/student interaction and the technology - especially given the price. I would check them out if the testing out doesn't work and you can give 12 weeks to the process:

Can anyone tell me about the workload for Eng 102 at Clovis? How many essays, term papers, etc., and if they have a proctored exam? I looked on their website but the syllabus was not listed for this course.
Also Clovis offers two english composition courses, ENG 102 and ENG 104. Does that mean that ENG 102 would transfer to TESC as ENG 101 and ENG 104 would transfer as ENG 102? If so, does anyone have any information about the ENG 104 class?
Thanks!
