Does anyone know if there is a CLEP exam for English Composition II? Thomas Edison State College is telling me that this is the only General Education requirement I need to complete my BSN. What is the CLEP equivalent and how do I prepare studying? Thanks!

There is a Clep exam but this exam is the 6 credit English Comp exam. To get full credit you need to do the essay portion also. You could look into the REA study guides. I am not sure what study material IC has available for this exam. TESC has their own English Comp exams. They have Comp I and Comp II, I am not sure how their exams are set up but do check out TESC website under TECEP exams. You can also look at Straighterline to complete English Comp II. They offer a class.
Glad to hear you are this close to being done.

Thanks, Allison. I've a few undergrad courses to take before completion of my degree...but I want to get the general ed stuff (only Eng Comp II) out of the way.
I heard about the TECEP exam, and they DO offer it for Eng Comp II, but I learned I can save a bit more money with a CLEP exam. I know that TESC accepts CLEP credit, but I wasn't sure as to the equivalent for this course. Thanks, though...this really helps.
