FEMA ICS Course Conversion Fee to Increase
#1
Hi!

I buzzed through the FEMA site just now.

About 10-12 of the courses I have taken don't even exist anymore.

Of the rest, many require you take two-three courses to equal a single credit.

Then, there's a site called http://www.em-study.com. Apparently, they handle the conversion (please, correct me if there is a direct to FCC method). (Obviously, some colleges accept FEMA ICS courses directly).

EM Study saith:

Quote:**Notification of Credit Fee Increase**

Effective June 1, 2016 the college credit fee will increase from $81.00 to $82.00 per semester hour of credit. Applications must be submitted by May 31th in order to be processed at the $81.00 per credit charge.

Where do you want to take these credits and end up? In other words, which college or Uni?
There are several colleges that take the FEMA credits for half that price, or even free in the case of COSC.

You should not go for Em Study as it is a partnership between EMI and FCC. https://em-study.com/emsfema/page.php?page=about

Take your credits, up to 27-30 of them to COSC for a degree there free.

Know also that plenty of schools still won't accept them even if you pay the conversion. One has to know their end game with FEMA.

AS in EMS August 2010

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.
