FHSU ACE partnership ending this academic year 2020-21
#1
Just in case anyone might be interested in attending FHSU and transferring in ACE credit, it appears that they should do so soon as it looks like they plan to end their partnership and will not be accepting ACE after the current academic year per the following notice on their webpage: “NOTICE: THE ACP PROGRAM AT FHSU WILL BE DISCONTINUED: WE WILL ACCEPT COURSES COMPLETED BY JULY 31, 2020 ON ACE TRANSCRIPTS RECEIVED DURING THE 2020-2021 ACADEMIC YEAR.”

Isn't ACP different from ACE? I thought those were two separate programs, but still attached to ACE.

According to the FHSU page, ACP includes courses from Saylor, Straighterline, and Pearson: https://www.fhsu.edu/cpl/alternative-cre...oject.html I don't know what other ACE courses they do or do not accept so I can't say if this will hinder anyone's potential degree plans.

I did call an ask, but there is a bit of confusion about what is under ACP and what is not. So far Sophia is not accepted at all, but some straighterline courses are. The director of the program that deals specifically with this is currently out of the office. I emailed him and will update.
