Fast and affordable Business Management or Computer Science degree.
#1
Your Location: Turkey
Your Age: 25.
What kind of degree do you want?: Business Management or Computer Science.
Current Regional Accredited Credits: None.
Current ACE, CLEP, or NCCRS Credits: None.
Any certifications or military experience?: None.
Budget: 4k USD.
Commitments: I work full time but I can dedicate 30 hours a week for studies.
Dedicated time to study: 30 hours a week.
Timeline: Ideally as fast as possible, so under 1.5 year.
Tuition assistance/reimbursement: None.

Hey there everyone, I have been reading the forum for the past couple of weeks and it's time I finally start pursing a degree. Smile
A small note about my background, I have been working as a software developer for well over 4 years now, but not having a degree made getting interviews for better positions harder - almost impossible - nowadays.
Realistically I know the best option would be to get a CS degree, but I believe with only 4k it would be impossible, so I reckoned the next best course of action is a Business Management degree.

Thanks for your time.
Oz.

Welcome to the board, great initial post with the addendum and template! Interesting to say the least, I just created a thread for UMPI vs UoPeople and it would fit you just right! Those two institutions are the ones I recommend most since UoPeople achieved RA recently. You can do a double degree for the cost of $4K, instead of one degree... I would do the BSCS at UoPeople as it's your first choice, then you can do the BSBA at UoPeople and be my guinea pig to test my theory! Link: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...s-Time-etc

Thank you very much for the quick reply :)!
That's some good news actually, I wasn't aware that UoPeople achieved RA.
Given that it seems like UoPeople would be the best option here, two degrees for just $4k would be such a steal, but for just a business degree I believe UMPI would also be a good option?
And for computer science, with UoPeople's RA it would be the most affordable, then I believe TESU (which would at least cost $6k if I'm not mistaken), or are there any other options I'm not aware of like UoPeople?

UMPI is developing a BS in Computer Science in the same competency-based YourPace modality as their business degree. At most recent report it's expected to open to students in Fall 2025.

You're not allowed to do two bachelor's degrees at UoPeople. They only allow you to do multiple master's degrees. If you choose whatever associate's degree you have to do the same bachelor's degree. If you have a bachelor's degree from a different university you can only do one bachelor's degree at UoPeople.

Oh snap! Well then, that'll be 1 degree at each institution! Take your pick quickly! I updated the earlier link...
