ALEKS-Trig?
#1
I've searched and seem to find some conflicting info. So I decided it best to just ask for the most current info...

When using ALEKS for credits toward TESU, what classes are accepted? Currently I've done the following:

Intermediate Algebra
College Algebra
PreCalculus
Intro To Statistice (In progress....UGH)

I know that all their statistics classes overlap each other. So those are out. How about Trigonometry? Beginning Algebra? Do those overlap any of the classes I have currently completed? I have time left on my account for the month and I'd like to see if I can get another elective done.
B&M
Introduction To Computer Information Systems
French I

ALEKS
Intermediate Algebra
College Algebra
PreCalculus

SOPHIA
Art History 1
Environmental Science
Human Biology
Foundations Of English Composition
Conflict Resolution
College Readiness

Those are the 4 courses TESU accepts. Everything else duplicates or is developmental (Beg Alg). Max credits from ALEKS to TESU is 12cr.

If you'd like to get more math credits (you're a "math person"), there are some additional inexpensive options:

Finite Math, Geometry (not sure what they come in as yet, but worth a shot to get them pre-approved) through Shmoop ($85/mo, but also includes some HIS courses you could take)
Business Stats (OPM-351) - Saylor - counts in GM AOS as UL
Applied Liberal Arts Math (MAT-105) - TECEP
College Math (MAT-102) Study.com or 6cr through CLEP (MAT-102/103)
Business Math (BUS-161) Study.com/DSST
Calculus I (MAT-231) Study.com/Saylor/SL
Calculus II (MAT-232) SL
Quantitative Analysis - UExcel (not sure of equiv)
Quantitative Literacy (MAT-119) - 2cr through Study.com
TESU BSBA/HR 2018 - WVNCC BOG AAS 2017 - GGU Cert in Mgmt 2000
EXAMS: TECEP Tech Wrtg, Comp II, LA Math, PR, Computers  DSST Computers, Pers Fin  CLEP Mgmt, Mktg
