I just registered and studied for a few hours. I didn't see an interface to mark the course as completed, nor did I see any credits. It feels a bit like an introductory course. Are you sure we can get 3 free credits?

At the link, the course landing page for College Success, the course is described as "3 hours" and the University of Pittsburgh isn't mentioned. By contrast, other Outlier courses like Intro to Business are described at their landing pages as "3 transferable credits" and the University of Pittsburgh is identified as the transcribing institution. Hypothesis: College Success is a non-credit course expected to take 3 clock hours.

"Each Outlier course is worth 3 transferable college credits from the University of Pittsburgh."

I sent a email to get clarification

I'm still waiting for confirmation but it looks like it's not RA. Outlier got acquired by Savvas in 2024 and their website has the College Success course separate from the other RA courses. Can a mod update my thread name/post so it's clear it's not RA?
Sorry about the misinformation guys.

Too bad... I was part registered before I reached bottom of thread (lol)
By the By .... Outlier.org's current ACE page shows NO courses at all currently recommended for credits, not even this guy.
Good to see you here Epiphany.y (seems we share some goals)

Well, that's because it isn't ACE. You take the course at Outlier.org then it's transcribed at the University of Pittsburgh. There's a bunch of other providers that operate like this, such as TEL learning and Portage Learning.

No worries, after the sale or purchase, Outlier.org has classes geared towards the high school and home school crowd... This particular one is a freebie that's non-credit, but the others are all for credit. They're marketing these as dual enrollment for those who want to get college credit while in high school...
