I am just starting out finishing my degree. I transferred 78 credits in and have 42 left to go. I am registered for the 5 free TECEP exams to start and am trying to figure out where the rest of my credits will come from.
RA credits are credits that come from an actual college or university. https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Accreditation Other terms and terminology here: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Ca...erminology If your 78 credits are entirely (or mostly) from another college or university, this isn't something you need to worry about at all.
For the rest of your classes, it'll depend on your degree. But you can get recommendations for various degrees here: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...ts_Roadmap
Yes, they are all from college. Thank you so much for your reply and the links!
Welcome to the board! That's right, any community college or university credit is RA. There's just one distinction, if you've gone to a private vocational college and they're Nationally Accredited, then that'll be NA credit. TESU doesn't accept that, but others such as Excelsior does...
Which degree are you looking at? Take some time reviewing threads and the WIKI to get the hang of things. You may want to create a new thread with the info on the addendum/template here:

Just curious if anyone else was charged for the TECEPs they registered for? I signed up for 3 of them over 2 weeks ago with $0 charge for the October term. Now, suddenly one has been dropped from my plan and the other two have been charged to my account. I'm reaching out to TESU to get it straightened out, but curious if this happened to anyone else?

They ran out of funds for the free TECEPs midway through October registration; you may have missed out.
TESU incorrectly dropped me from one TECEP in the September term but reinstated my registration after I contacted them.

I suppose that's a possibility, but I signed up on Sep 6 when the notice was still posted on their web site. I wasn't charged at the time, so I thought I made it. The charge only showed up today. I emailed them so I guess I'll see what they say.

Yes, you need to wait for confirmation and see what the deal is, I checked and all 7 are still in my account without a charge. I'm taking my first two this coming week after a little bit of study (and getting other things done first).

Took a few days for someone to get back to me, but they removed the charges for the TECEPs. No explanation as to why I was charged in the first place

11/19 for September term
12/17 for October term
You generally want to take at least one week before the last day.

Yes, you don't want to leave it for the last minute as there are always 'issues' with ProctorU...
Just in case something happens, always have some buffer time of that one week at minimum.
