Yes.  Every course you take at a school is calculated in.

Since so often here on the forum we interchange the terms 'course' with alternative credits course/exam/etc -  I do want to point out that TECEP does not count towards GPA at TESU, so failing one of them does not impact the GPA (you simply don't get credit).  As dfrecore stated, every course taken through TESU  does count towards the TESU GPA - pass or fail - just as it would at any school.

They will also calculate a GPA from the transfer credits they accept to make sure you comply with the minimum GPA for transfer courses (I think 2.0). Finally they will calculate a "overall" GPA which includes all of the above. I don't think that any GPA the credit eval company calculates (if they even do) will matter.

Ah, so the GPA TESU themselves will calculate will only be based on the transferable credits, and not on the GPA from all the non-transferable credits and transferable credits combined, correct?

Correct. To be clear, the transfer GPA is used only to determine that you meet the minimum and will appear on your academic eval. The only GPA that will appear on your official transcript will be the TESU GPA.

GPA = grade point average

TESU will consider the Grade of transfer course for credit purposes but will not consider their Grade Point Average or use the Grades in calculating a TESU Grade Point Average.
