Gateway U is an education organization located in Newark, NJ that's affiliated with SNHU

Online degrees offered: bachelor's and associate's degrees in management, healthcare management & communications

Self-paced, no tests or lectures; "Complete projects based on real-life assignments designed to teach useful professional skills". Very interesting. 

Degrees are conferred by SNHU

Tuition is $2,332 per term before financial aid & $35 per term with max financial aid for unlimited courses - no extra fees & no textbooks

Where did you get the tuition number, it seems you added the two numbers from their site?

That to means, $2,332/term for those who don't have financial aid
$35/term for those who max out on the financial aid

Note: $35/term for a competency based degree program by SNHU, OMG! This is amazing if verifiable and works!
BTW, The programs offered are all the ones in their College for America program which SNHU shut down, it was their main competition to WGU.
That College for America program attracted many students to use SNHU to the point they started asking students if they would go non CBE for $

How long is a term? Website doesn't seem to say.

Is this really part of SNHU? If it is then why isn't SNHU just offering a CBE program directly? They used to have a CBE program.

Accreditation?? Nothing on the website talks about this.

They're a non-profit organization, I see them similar to what ModernStates, Saylor.org, even Onlinedegree.com is doing...
I just sent them an email, to the lady in charge of the entire operations in their organization/team...

I have a few quick questions in regards to this program.

1) Is this program available for anyone? Out of state, or even, international students?

2) Are there additional charges at SNHU? Or do all the fees listed on the site the only fees applicable?

3) Instead of completing 120 credits, are we able to transfer in say 75% of the program credits through CLEP and acceptable courses SNHU accepts?

Their fees are on top of SNHU tuition. They encourage people to apply for admission to SNHU and then "coach" them through their degree for a fee. It's SNHU tuition PLUS Gateway U fees. In other words, they charge a large amount of money for what we are trying to do here for free! Really strange!

I'm not clear on how Gateway U gets enough money to cover what must be high costs for their in-person program, but apparently it's not through student tuition.

It's $2332 per trimester, without saying how long that is.

It also only talks about Competency-based education in terms of how SNHU operates - it is not a CBE program that I can see.
