Got time off..how fast can I complete the Thomas Edison Management degree?

I'm guessing Thomas Edison is changing some things and I have to take Strategic Management before they make it a capstone? Going to sign up with Aleks tonight.

ALEKS for Math/Stats, Straighterline and Study.com for the rest (just make sure not to take over 90 credits at one place).
Straighterline is the fastest, Study.com is something I've not used yet, but will soon... I am going to take their UL courses
If you're going for an MIS course, the one at Davar Academy is the cheapest at $70+$15 RPNow proctoring.

I completed 42 credits in under 12 weeks. That was with a lot of distractions and some days not being able to study at all. 9 of the courses were with study.com. I did get a little burnt out on study.com. I felt that most of what I took I could have passed the exam without the course but you have to take all the quizzes to get the exam to unlock. Some courses I took in 2-3 days and some in a week. But never more than a week. You might try straighterline too. I've heard of people breezing through some of their courses. You could easily get the two study courses done in about a week and then use SL for the rest of the month until new exams unlock it or pay $70 for extra exams.

One suggestion that helped me was to group similar courses together. A lot of courses have overlap so it's not all new material.

Also not sure what degree you want but Gen Ed's are mostly the same (a couple of exceptions) and some degrees like Liberal Studies are really, really flexible. A lot of the credits work in multiple categories.

If I were going to attempt something like this, I would probably do a mixture of Study.com and SL (so as not to get too burned out on either one), using Study.com as well to study for Saylor exams where possible. I would also start with ALEKS and try to get the math out of the way before it expires on 3/31. I would also register for the Strategic Management TECEP exam for April.

Is there any other way to get the Strategic Management credit or is only the TECEP? Thanks

Just the TECEP unless you want to take an actual $1500, 8week course with TESU

You've asked a very subjective question.

You say you're starting at the top, and that you've really been procrastinating.

IF you already know your degree at a high academic level (like, a degree in accounting where you not only understand accounting, you have currency in how academia wants things done), you could knock out everything in a few months, no question - several here have said they've done it.

If you do not know how to cite, or to write in the academic voice, or are comfortable with testing, especially proctored testing, or you don't have the knowledge base (like, already knowing the math before you do the math course), it is going to take some time. Maybe years.

Basically, I'm saying if all the classes aren't something you could straight up test out of, and you already kinda drag your feet, trying to knock out a complete four year degree in a few months might be a little.... ambitious.

Rise to the occasion!
