Kean University and NJCU Sign Definitive Merger Agreement to Launch Kean Jersey City, this is from last month...
So, Kean University and NJCU are merging plus launching with a new name... Kean Jersey City, that's the name of the new university, seems like a bold move to merge, but I guess it was needed to bolster enrollment for both institutions and have their programs aligned properly.
