Personal finance SL or DSST for TESC BSBA
#21
bricabrac Wrote:Just another option I couldn't get off my mind, this scenario omits one test and adds the remaining free credit -

Instead of taking CIS107 TECEP to fill the Business Core computer requirement let the CLEP COS101 fill that slot and take the additional FREE courses needed to complete business electives. I actually took the CIS107 course and if I had the choice would have taken the TECEP for much easier credit. But since you have the option of free CIS/MAN credit, and are more than likely taking another exam in the specialized area, CIS107 is no longer necessary. Again, whatever is easiest for you.

II. Professional Business Requirements
A. Business Core:
COS101 Information Systems & Applications - CLEP
(use instead of CIS107)

Business Electives: (9sh)
BUS101 Intro to Business – SL 3CR
CIS299 Non-Technical / General User TEEX 2CR
complete free series: need (4cr)
MAN299 Managers and Business Professionals TEEX 2CR
CIS344 Technical / IT Profession TEXX 2CR

MY thoughts exactly. I was interested in the CIS TECEP because I could have taken it cold and it would have been a time saver. However, these TEEX courses are the right price so I'll just put in the hours and use them to fill my business electives. Thanks again!
