Gympass acquires Trainiac - Seattle Startup

Interesting, these guys are in my neck of the woods but I've not used their services before.. (and I was looking to get back into shape earlier, just stumbled upon their services now).  Anyways, it's interesting they started in 2016, in 4 years or so, they were able to raise a couple million, and the following year get acquired - that's just 5 years!

Seems Facebook/Microsoft have a few entrepreneurs that want to break out from the blue chip companies and start their own.  I wonder if my ex-coworkers at companies I've consulted/contracted with such as NewsCorp or IBM want to start something. <hint hint, nudge nudge - I'm not at that point yet though, sigh>
