So I've read a lot of posts, but I sure could use some help here understanding how math courses transfer to TESC. Can someone look at this and tell me if I'm right? Also, most importantly, I completed ALEKS Beginning Algebra but can't find out it translates. I'm afraid that it doesn't count at all. Anyone know??
ALEKS Beginning Algebra = ???
ALEKS Intermediate Algebra = MAT-115
ALEKS College Algebra = MAT-121
ALEKS Precalculus = MAT-129
Non-Aleks Equivalents (I think)
CLEP College Math = MAT-102/103 (just saying because Ive taken it),
TECEP Applied Liberal Arts Math = MAT-105
DSST Business Math = BUS-161

Business Math doesn't count as a math course; it counts as a business course. Beginning Algebra is not accepted.

Aleks beginning algebra, while it was accepted, transferred as MAT-102; which would have been a partial duplicate for your CLEP anyway. Everything else on your list is correct and accepted. Business math will either count as a free elective or business elective depending on your major. I also took full advantage of the available LL math credit; Love the subject.

Are you asking me to delete? Not sure what this means. Thanks.
also, does anyone know which one to take first... College Algebra or Intermediate Algebra? Is one a pre-req for the other? Or which one is harder?

ALEKS has no required prerequisites. Intermediate Algebra comes before College Algebra. It meets the college-level math requirement. Some degree programs, however, will specifically state that you need College Algebra or higher. Whether or not you should start with College Algebra depends on your abilities.
