Hi all-
I did it - Iâm done! It seems like itâs been half my life since I started the path towards my college degree when I was 13, but itâs only been 2 years. I earned 97 credits in my first year before applying to Thomas Edison State University. I had to request an age waiver, but the process was much simpler and a lot less hassle than I expected. I must admit that once I was accepted I hesitated quite a bit before taking my Capstone because it was so intimidating. However, my instructor, Dr. Dan Wiley, was very easy to work with, and when I needed a question answered, he responded quickly. I highly recommend him for those who need to take the LIB-495 Liberal Arts Capstone. He was helpful, constructive, kind and prompt. I earned a 99% overall course grade in the class, and was able to finish my degree with a 4.0 GPA. I walked in the 2016 September Commencement, was fortunate enough to be awarded the Arnold Fletcher Award, and despite the time we spent sitting, had a blast. Luckily, thanks to this forum, I learned about the BSBA Capstone requirement changes prior to its implementation, and got my Penn Foster Strategic Mgmt course completed and on my transcript in order to have it qualify as my business Capstone. Yes, I actually planned ahead on that one.
I thank God for giving me the ability and desire to complete my degree, and for being with me every step of the way. A special thanks to my mom, who helped me with my degree planning, as well as hunting down class options that fit my degree. She also kept me moving forward when I was tempted to give up. And finally, I owe a tremendous debt of gratitude towards InstaCert, both towards the people who created the FlashCards and the Discussion Forum Members who provided such valuable information, and without whom I couldnât have completed this degree in the time that I did.
God Bless,
Flying-Ace

Wow, you rock. That's a young age when you started. I recall when I started thinking of school... it was when I finished High School at 18.
I didn't even think about it then, maybe started thinking when I was at a community college or even when I did some studies at the local institute.
Anyways, congrats... great work! Thank you for providing us this inspirational story and also to the Mom's that put up with us...

I read that and kept trying to come up with reasons for it and I've fallen short.

:iagree: It may seem interesting, but most likely the OP was waning to get a Business Degree instead of a BASS or is thinking of a second degree being the BSBA.
