IBM SkillsBuild offers 12 ACE credits

I signed up for both of these certificates with the goal to send to TESU. I will report back in the future.

I'm not done yet. The Cybersecurity one ends next week. I'll update when I send it in to TESU and hear back

I looked it up - it's worth 12 Computer Science elective credits. Disappointing. I wonder if it can be appealed...

How many credits were you expecting it to come in as? What were you expecting the classes to be used for, or towards? The AOS electives actually is a part of the major, so that's the main thing you want... If it comes in as upper level, that's even better.

I was expecting it would come in as Intro to Cybersecurity (well, Intro to Information Security at UMPI) course because it's fairly comprehensive.

I received an email that my evaluation was ready...and it wasn't on there. I just sent an email to enrolled@tesu.edu asking them to take another look.

hmm, that happened to me a few times, it's a waiting game for them... It'll most likely update in a few days

Response from TESU:

"IBM SkillsBuild is a TESU approved educational provider and ACE recommended however, the Cybersecurity Certificate c completed needs to be reviewed for equivalency by our TESU educational provider review committee. Should the course be approved for credit, we will add the credit to your record in accordance with TESU transfer credit policies. We will notify you of the outcome when it is completed."

IBM SkillsBuild Data Analytics Certificate came in as 8 General Elective 1XX credits with UMPI.
