The first time that I took a DSST test at a local college, I was asked to show my drivers license as a verfication of my I.D. However, with each subsequent visit the proctor did not ask for I.D. I do not always have the same proctor either.
Is this common?

I have taken TECEP, CLEP or DSST at 3 different locations and all have asked for my ID each and every time even when they knew me.

I think it depends on your site. My favorite site asked for my ID the first couple of times but after that I didn't have to. At the other site, I had to prove my identity every single time.

At one college they required 2 forms of photo ID for both tests I took, same proctor, and 2 days apart (that is technically the college boards rule). At the University I take them at now they are much more flexible with testing times and they only asked for ID the first 2 times I tested. They know me now. I don't think they should have to hassle their best customers for ID when they've already seen it a couple times, like buying beer when you're 21, after they know you they don't bother anymore.
I have 18 traditional credits and 51 exam credits. I've passed Introductory Sociology 76, Introductory Psychology 68, A&I Literature 66, Principles of Marketing 76, Introductory Business Law 71, Social Sciences & History 67, DSST Drug & Alcohol Abuse 450, Biology 69, Principles of Management 70, Natural Sciences 64, Intro to Business DSST 70, Principles of Macroeconomics 67, Principles of Microeconomics 58.

Where I test, it's always the same person, and she knows me by name. She always asks for my ID, just in case I'm from the College Board doing an inspection or something like that.
