I too used the book as my last practice exam
Sure, but all the information in the book and pdfs is already on the college board site word-for-word for free. I bought this book for $15 (not directly from the college board) and can't get over what a waste it was.

If it works for you, then great! However, I can't help but to sulk when I think of how the College Board TRICKED me into buying that nonsense by claiming that there was ANYTHING in it, when there wasn't.

From reading the Amazon reviews, you weren't the only one who was disappointed in the lack of actual study materials provided for example.

I paid $16. I have taken 8 CLEP exams and earned 39 credits. It has been an inexpensive way for me to get a confidence boost just before taking the exam.

It has also helped me make sure I am on track with my study materials. I got off track with Chemistry materials and having this guide as reference was very helpful to me.

Knowing what to expect - it is a list of topics and about 60 sample questions for each exam - would help most people decide if they need it.

If you don't want your book (or any book), it can be traded at Trade Books for Free with our Online Book Swap `PaperBackSwap.com

Since Peterson's is percentage based and CLEP is scaled, it's hard (impossible?) to make an accurate conversion. For your information, however, my peterson's scores were in the low 70s and I passed the actual CLEP with a 69. If I remember correctly, the Peterson's questions were a lot easier than the actual test.
