update : 4/5/2010 Received my score today : 466
I took a paper/pencil version ( 94 questions) so will not have score for about 3 weeks. After taking the test I can understand why ACE upgraded their recommendation to UL credit. This test is very broad and after reading other feedback there seems to be multiple versions of this exam being used.
I answered 70 question my first time through and went back to the remaining 24 and made my best guess after narrowing them down to two choices. Then I went through them all again and still ended up changing a few answers. The wording in the exam at times is a bit tricky, it was only in re-reading that I realized I needed to make some corrections. I also do not think my exam followed the DSST fact sheet in regards to percentage breakdown, as my version was definitely heavier on Hinduism then Islam and Christianity.
Below are things I wish I studied more:
~Paul Tillich's view of faith Paul Tillich's Dynamics of Faith
~Freud and his understanding of guilt/fathers & religion Philosophy of Religion » Sigmund Freud: Religion as Wish-Fulfilment
~4 people Buddha saw that spurred his journey for enlightenment THE BASIC TEACHING OF BUDDHA
~The names of the Mormon texts Sacred Texts: Mormons
~the name of the largest Jewish sect in Israel
~largest Jewish Sect
~Reformed Judaism and their view of Talmud
~Meaning of Kalam ( Islam)
~What can be done to progress in caste ( Hinduism)
~What deity is worshiped during the Holi festival ( Hinduism)
~ the meaning of the word > Shinto
~role of the priests in ancient Babylon
~what Confucius thought of Gods and spirits
~debate between Augustine & Pelliguras
~Sikh> about the Singhs
~Bakhti Magna ( hinduism)
~Tao > Pu
u > un-carved block < meaning of this concept The Taoist Concept of Pu: Pu as the Uncarved Block
~the main message of the Tao Te Ching
~Ywh > Adonai ( Judaism) Yahweh - New World Encyclopedia
~ The book that is read during Shabbat ( Judaism)
~Theosophy is closest to what major religion
~Oracle at Delphi eHistory.com: Oracle of Delphi
~Muslim Brotherhood : when and where it started Muslim Brotherhood - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
