I wanted to get feedback on the Intro to Sociology Clep. I am currently a registered nurse and have some familiarity with the subject. I took the practice test from the official clep study guide and got a 50 percent. Is it safe to take it next Wednesay? PLEASE HELP this will determine if I graduate in May.

A 50 on the official test indicates you're ready, just. I would recommend you review the questions you missed and read about those areas and depending on the margin of safety you want do a little more, such as take a Petersons practice test (search this site for how to do so for free, though for your situation it's worth the $20 IMHO). It will have more questions and help you think in the way you need to for the exam. If you are using the InstantCert product (the forum's sponsor), keep at it. I don't know that joining now will do that much for you, in my experience once I was basically ready, other resources were better for improving my score.
Terms and which name is associated with which theory are big on this exam.

As MIS... said above, close. This is one of the easier tests but you either need to find the free Peterson's tests and take that or see if your library has the REA book with sample tests. Personally, I use IC, REA books when I can find them, and then take the Peterson's tests also. That way you feel as if you have prepared as much as possible. Even then, there are always tests that seem to come out of left field.
