Excelsior - Math for non-science majors?
#11
meanne Wrote:Question on ALEKS!!! I signed up for Statistics with ALEKS. I also signed up with ACE for their credits. I didn't know you HAD to take a proctored exam after you reach approximatey 70%+. Is this for all exams through ALEKS?

Thanks!

Calm down, there is no proctored test. Phew Smile

There is an assessment you can request at any time (from the master account). If you score more than 70% in this assessment, you are done. Log in to your ACE transcript account and request ALEKS sends the course information over.

Excellent ALEKS -> ACE -> 'Big 3+' information is buried away in the ALEKS megathread.

Good luck!

I'm getting closer and closer to finishing... except for the math demon!

Thanks!

If you are looking for a very easy Math class, you need to take the Excelsior College Math "MATH-113" course (Its pretty much a remedial course). I took that one. It can be expensive though. Unless you can handle the College Math CLEP, Intermediate Algebra DSST, or another alternative.

Is the ALEKS assessment a timed test or can you take as long as you need?

Thanks!
