Unimarconi Master via ENEB Thread

(Yesterday, 05:39 PM)bjcheung77 Wrote: I'm still a bit confused on the final pricing and hoops to jump through.  Mind if I ask you to break down the pricing and steps required? It's just $1,775.00 for the link you sent in, but what about the other prices to get to this final price point?  I know this will get you a seat reservation into the Unimarconi Masters, but is there anything more to do or pay for before it's all done?

Hi BJ - It was $2358, Kalas made an initial down payment to reserve his spot, as that was also an option. The 1775 is simply the remaining balance that he was finally given the link to pay.

When paying to enroll in the program  the understanding was that it would require an apostilled copy of a bachelor's degree and transcript as well as a government-issued ID (which they said front and back).

Withn 72 hours, an email came which asked us to enroll and choose the program, and to upload the documents; however, it stated that for only for degrees that were issued outside of the EU, the apostille was required. We were also asked to select the "call", the start date of the program. As I started the process weeks after Kalas, I chose November as the soonest available date for me at the time. They said calls begin on the 15th of the month. (There were other times where it stated that calls begin on the 1-15th of the month)

I did not submit an apostille as my degree was issued within the EU, but I am in the US, so I submitted the digital diploma and transcript as they are, and a US Driver's License (front and back)

We recently got a follow-up email with a document in Italian for us to finalize the enrollment, which was the other week.

Just waiting now to begin the course. Have not received any additional details, but I am so into the current studies that I don't mind.

The degree is $2358. At no point in time has ENEB ever said it would be less. ENEB claimed the price was going to go up to $3500 on October 1 but that turned out to be a lie. https://eneb.com/accreditationusd/ The sales page gave the option to "lock in" the "lower price" if a down payment of $583 was made in September with the balance paid before studies start. $583+1775=$2358. You can still do it that way, and it probably won't be as much of a pain as it was for me since I posted the link for the final payment, but I would still recommend paying the $2358 when you sign up. I posted the link to the $583 down payment in the OP if you really want to do it that way. The link on the sales page will give you the (higher) euros price for split payments.

ENEB coursework will fulfill the coursework requirement for the degree. You will only have to take a comprehensive exam and write a 12,000 word thesis to get the official master's degree. You not only get a good deal on the degree but can complete it with minimal additional work.

Once you pay you'll get a link to a form you need to fill out. That is where you will pick your start date and make the final decision for which degree you are pursuing. It is also where you will upload scans of your license, undergrad diploma and transcript. ENEB claimed that non-EU residents would need an apostille for their degrees and transcripts, but as Pearson's experience proves the apostille is needed for non-EU degrees, not residents. I went into great detail on getting all of that done as cheaply as possible.

Then you wait for at least 2 weeks. Eventually, ENEB will send you a link to an official application from Unimarconi with all of your information in it. You put a digital signature on it. Then you wait for your start date.

I have speculated that if sales of these degrees have not met ENEB's expectations, as not following through on the promised price hike could indicate, that people already enrolled may be offered a second Unimarconi master at a discounted price sometime between Black Friday and Cyber Monday. That is purely speculation on my part and is not based on any inside information from ENEB and/or Unimarconi.

Just a friendly FYI, I've asked ENEB if Uni Marconi diploma issuance will be at an additional cost after the completion of the requirements, and in usual ENEB fashion, they confirmed, that it will be an additional ca. 500€, with potential promotions for the issuance fees.

It sounds like ENEB thought you meant the fee for a paper diploma with apostille. A paper diploma with an apostille was over €400 the last time I got an email trying to sell it to me for my ENEB degrees. It wouldn't surprise me if it's €500 now. If you need a hard copy it would be cheaper to buy a good color laser printer, box of parchment paper and get the apostille yourself.

I never expected to get hard copies, just a PDF of the diploma and transcript with the ability to order official hard copy transcripts from Unimarconi at the regular Unimarconi price if needed in the future. I confirmed the $2358 includes a transcript from Unimarconi because I will need it to apply to doctoral programs.

I hope your understanding is correct, but this was their reply if diploma issuance has any additional cost to the enrollment fee:
  • Diploma issuance costs: The official diploma from Università Marconi is not included in the enrolment fee. The university charges separate issuance and delivery costs, usually around 500 €. However, ENEB often launches promotional campaigns that significantly reduce these costs.

When you talk to enough schools in the bargain basement you'll develop a knack for decoding this Engrish. When a cheapo European school says "diploma" in English they mean the physical piece of a paper with your credential printed on it. Even ENEB isn't enough of a sleazeball school to charge separate fees for enrolling and digital proof of graduation. As stated a few times, I explicitly asked if I will get transcripts from Unimarconi and was told yes. Should ENEB try to pull something like that I'm taking a fraud complaint straight to MIUR and Unimarconi will make sure that gets resolved to my satisfaction so I withdraw the complaint as quickly as possible. Unimarconi does NOT want to lose the ability to grant official degrees over fraudulent inducement. Fraudulent inducement is a very serious matter, even in civil law countries.

Any school with low tuition will have high fees for ancillaries. I remember thinking the official physical transcript fee for Unimarconi was obscene when I looked it up. I want to say it was either €50 or €100, and I'm assuming more for shipping if it's not going somewhere in Europe. Hopefully that's per person and not per degree as I could see myself doing a few more at Unimarconi. When I needed official transcripts for my US undergrad it was $12 on Parchment for both degrees, but the tuition was waaaaay more. When you get a real master's degree for less than the price of taking one master's class in the US you suck it up when you get nickel and dimed because even if you get hit with an extra $1000 in BS fees over your lifetime you're still way ahead.

Update: ENEB confirmed everything is set on their end for me to start tomorrow! Time to get back in LFG!!!!! mode. Asked if it will be added to campus.eneb.com or how I'm supposed to access the material since no one has actually told me yet. Still have a few hours left before the weekend starts in Spain so hopefully somebody sees it.

Update 2: Got confirmation that these Unimarconi programs are accessed on campus.eneb.com just like ENEB programs. LFG!!!!!!!

Nice, after reading your update I also followed up and the response was: You will find your new Marconi content tomorrow in your account. You will find the new content in the home page of your campus on the ''My courses'' section."

Glad to get confirmation, and looking forward to the content, studying the exam questions and preparing the thesis once I see the requirements.
