My graduate college is requiring me to take one of these courses as a prerequisite to some research I'll be doing and hopefully publishing with one of my professors. You obtain a certificate of completion after finishing the modules It's not anything big but if you have need for knowledge in any of these areas, it might be interesting to take it and at least earn the certificate.
