Decided I wanted to major in Military History for my Master's so I enrolled with AMU. A friend of mine received his BA there (an active duty Soldier as well) and was very happy with the quality of his education there. Had nothing bad to say. Additionally, I read numerous glowing reviews all over the internet about AMU's master's degree programs. It sounds like the professors are top notch. If things go well I should be starting March 1.

321 total SH of college credit
currently finishing B.S. in Mathematics at UTRGV en route to Masters in Mathematics
occupation: Certified High School Math Teacher
current goal: Pass 4 of the actuarial science exams and become an actuary
Retired Intelligence Officer (21 years, 6 combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan)

:iagree: I'm taking my last 2 undergrad classes at AMU but will be graduating from TESC. What amazes me about the school is that it has almost every major one can do on an online school. I found that the 8 week terms are awesome as well. I can't believe I'm already half way done with my classes only after a month because at TESC I found the 3rd month sucking up a lot of my energy. Too bad AMU has a residency requirement, otherwise I think they would be a perfect fit for the Big 3...Big 4?
BTW Congrats on attending OCS. Masters and OCS, how do you do it? I'm amazed at what some people here can fit in their schedules.

Which AMU degree program has a residency requirement? I didn't see that anywhere.

For undergrad AMU will only transfer up to 90 credits, therefore the remaining 30 credits would have to be taken at AMU which is pretty standard for most schools. However, TESC, EC, and COSC allow all 120 credits to be transferred over. This has no effect on you because you're a grad student so don't sweat it.:hurray:
