Thank you all here at degreeforum, I lurked the forums for well over 10 years and I finally decided to jump into a degree with both feet after watching so many of you navigating the complexities of being your own advisors and sourcing transfer credits from the most obscure places. I really can't express my gratitude enough to bjcheung77, dfrecore, and rachel83az, you all contributed heavily in helping me understand the process well enough to take the initial step in persuing my degree plan. I initially did a ton of Sophia and Coursera courses, then I got my Pierpont BOG AAS with a focus on Information Systems, laddered up to the UMPI AALS, then BAS in Management, Project Management, and Management of Information Systems, and finally I completed my MAOL! If you are reading this and have been overthinking it, you may need to trust the forums and dive in head first. I completed the Associates through Masters in roughly 1.5 years.

Congrats on getting that completed so quickly! Great stuff, good work, nicely done...
Degree Pathway - Pierpont BOG AAS > UMPI AALS > UMPI BAS > UMPI MAOL
Question: What's up next for you? Another educational goal or something different...

I am currently pursuing some opportunities within my career and I am thinking about enrolling in courses for an OSHA Advanced Safety & Health certification with the California State University Dominguez Hills. It would be a large time commitment but can help me progress further professionally.

Congratulations.
How many terms did you do the MAOL in? Did you transfer any courses to the MAOL from the BAS?
And is there anything you would do differently in hindsight of your degree journey?

Thank you! I transferred one course from the BAS, I made a mistake in my degree plan and didn’t select two classes that would have applied to both. It took me three terms to complete the MAOL, I could have finished in one term but I had some major life events that took place, so I burned the middle term with only one class. to be honest I don’t think I would have changed anything. I am kind of an anal about planning so I went in really well prepared. I found that once I was doing classes, I was very disciplined and quick but at the start of the term it always took me too much time to pick up momentum.

@joshuaissac, At most, 3 of the 4 classes from the BAS/BABA/BLS can go towards the MAOL, I just recommend to do all 4 in case. Those applying to the MSB, should be able to complete two classes from the BAS/BABA/BLS towards the requirements in the communications concentration. You should plan for 2 sessions to complete the MAOL or MSB, those who have absolutely no commitments and plenty of energy/time can probably finish faster.
