A steal indeed it was almost free. It can serve as extra credentials, a first master's degree, extra graduate credits to transfer into a doctoral degree or another program, or even a checkmark on a job application. Sometimes you gotta be in it to win it and deals like this come along every once in a while. As they say, you snooze you lose.

I've been even more lucky in two other respects. For one thing, it took me several years to decide on what master's degree to pursue and when to start, and this deal came along and forced my hand. There was no way I was going to let this one slip by me! Second, for the first time ever, I have a job that pays tuition reimbursement that started this past September. When all is said and done, I'll be paying $1,200 for this degree, and will also be getting tax credits for it Big Grin

One important indirect boon is that it's also giving me graduate school experience, helping me to mentally prepare for some of my other goals beyond the MBA. It's been especially important to me since I hadn't taken any classes in years and wasn't sure how easily I could get back into it. The ego boost of putting in a good week's work and getting an A grade back increases my confidence that I'm ready for what comes next in both my schooling and my career.

You are in a win-win situation can't beat it! you struck the iron while it was hot and went for the deal of a lifetime. The only other deal that will beat this is a free degree haha. I doubt a cheaper deal will come with RA accredidation. You have the job helping you so you are doing great as the degree will be almost free in your case. For me personally its worth the $3000 why not. That makes graduate credits $83.33 each. I may in the future get use out of the degree or the credits for another program possible DBA? Haha who knows what is next but I have to say I love this forum and our sister forum for providing me information on so many degrees I would not know about otherwise.

It would appear that they are either done with the $3k deal, or that they are refraining from advertising it publicly.

https://mba.hauniv.edu/get-an-mba-your-way/ the 3k price is still sort of on their website, but it does list the November start date. The ship definitely might have sailed, but if someone was interested it still might be worth a shot.

They are offering 20% off tuition at full price now. I would imagine the ship has sailed.. They put a deadline date which was November 01, 2021, and two months later has not been updated.

They offered the $3000 tuition multiple times and said it was a limited time only. It was a scholarship program and available until the funds ran out. I wouldn't do their program for 20% off of regular tuition. For $3K for the entire MBA, heck yeah. They don't make it easy to find their tuition prices. This is from the catalog.

Master’s of Business
Administration (MBA) 2 years 36 credits 12 courses
€390,14 €1,170,42 €14.045,00 €50,00
$486.17 per credit $1,404.50 per course $16,854.00 total tuition $60.00 application fee

MBA - Rolling Cohort 2 36 12 $388.89 per credit $1,167.67 per course $14,000 * total tuition $60.00 application fee This includes a $3000 international practicum fee.

It appears the $3000 tuition is still available for US residents for the HAU MBA (RA) based on this recent post by another member who just made the inquiry - https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid357073
Amberton - MSHRB
TESU - ASNSM/BSBA

I'm graduating this March from UMPI so I wonder if I can apply for this program. This seems like a killer deal. I've already finished everything, applied for graduation and my counselor gave me the ok for graduation. Is there anybody know that I can ask my school to issue some kind of confirmation for my degree so I can apply for this program? Does HAU even consider me if I apply earlier than my graduation? If I'm going to miss this program, is there anything similar in terms of price and RA? Thanks a bunch!

I would apply now. You can always send an updated transcript once your degree is conferred. From my understanding, degrees at UMPI are only conferred after the session ends. I finished early last year and had to wait for the conferral. Same with this year. Grades also aren't due until a week after the session ends.
