Time for my daily stupid question: How/when do you receive grades? Do you need to ask for a transcript at the end of every class/term?

Just email your professor to know your grade. No, you do not receive a transcript. Sometimes blackboard will provide a grade other than that email your professor if you are worried about final grades.

I have a family member in this program.  They don't get the grades 'receipt' for their work reimbursement until the end of the semester, versus after each course.  There are two (7 week) terms within a semester, they take one course per term - so for example, at the end of the "Spring" semester they get the two grades posted to their transcripts which they use for reimbursement.

They just told me that they go into SharePoint through the email, and complete an 'unofficial transcript request' which they email to the registrar at the end of each semester (you can get one 'unofficial transcript' free per semester). So it is a manual process, but if you mention it is for tuition reimbursement they get it to you promptly.

I literally got either a verbal or a email from prof for every course with my grade at the end of each class. None showed up fully in Blackboard.. I just rolled with it.. In fact my graduation was confirmed before I got one class grade. 

I was chatting with Dean Martin and mentioned that while it didn't bother me much, I also felt that for many being able to see grades and progress towards completion is motivating for most, she agreed. The trick seems to be the IT side that is not quite there yet (with a side serving of profs doing grades in internal not visible to students system and not always in Blackboard with consistency.

This is one aspect of a small school, doesn't make it "OK" but it is understandable. Keep in mind they also are only just shy of 2 years of doing this program mostly online, also working to harmonize Athens and Nashua campus MBA course offerings so timings work better for students in both places.

Thanks, degree conferral is on the 30th. Should have the diploma within 2 wks after.

I am happy to be done but did really enjoy the program and learn, which was my goal.
