Which is a nobrainer because you must be at min part time (6cr/semester) to qualify for the SL. Otherwise pay back begins! Yup, you must be enrolled in at least 6cr of Online or Guided Study courses for each semester to continue qualifying for financial aid. Which is great, since it means that I can take two classes per semester and do TECEPs or CLEP or a Prior Learning Assessment without taking on too much.

Levi Wrote:After passing CLEP Marketing last Wednesday, I thought it would be logical to take TECEP Advertising next. So I've been trying to set up a proctoring session and register for my first TECEP.
However, just today I looked at the cost for a non-TESC-enrolled student, and it is going to cost $500 for 3 credits! I know that's not terrible, but compared to CLEP and DSST exams, I wasn't ready for that huge price. :willynilly:
TESC-enrolled students only have to pay $250 for 3 credits, so I'm thinking I will be waiting to take my TECEP exams until I'm actually enrolled with TESC in a few months.
Just my thoughts... Any advice or suggestions?
Does anyone know is this is still accurate? I looked at the application to register and it said that it was $86 for TESC students and $177 for non-TESC students. Just wondering which is correct.
Thanks

$86 per credit.
Each TECEP is normally (always?) three credits. $86 would sure be nice though!

Okay, so if I am taking a 3 credit TECEP and am not enrolled in TESC it would be $177 x 3 = $531, right?
Thanks for clarifying that for me.
