I realized I have one assignment left for Com I on Study.com. I calculated my grade so far and if I just take a 0.00% on the last assignment, my final grad will be 77.48. This is well enough to pass the Study.com class itself, but does UMPI require a higher grade?
Thx!

I don't remember if UMPI cares about the percentage or not. However, even if they don't, keep in mind that some graduate schools do care. Taking a lower score has the potential to negatively impact your future ability to continue on to a grad school, if that's something you care about.

You have to hand something in in order to get the credit so I'd recommend you make a basic effort; 70 or better is usually enough for the credit - but it is always nice to at least end up with an 80 ('B' range) or above. Also, remember the for UMPI Comp (especially Comp II) is recommended to do through them - Comp II at UMPI is a single paper.

Shoot for 80 or above. UMPI just requires you to pass, however if you ever want to go for another degree, you'll most likely need higher than a 70. All grades matter when it comes to grad school. They'll calculate your GPA with all of your credits. Many people don't have plans to get a master's when they finish their bachelor's, but then life changes some time later and it becomes a necessity.

Yes, you want to pass the course but also shoot above the 80 plus mark. Just in case you're looking at others such as COSC, UMASS Global, they require 80 and 81.5 respectively. Moreover, some graduate programs will try to review your alternative credit if you are missing RA graded credits and it's better to have them see 80+ vs a pass at 70.

I would get the grade I get, and worry about grad school later. There are plenty of schools that don't care about your ACE credit, so I would just choose one of these schools if this is an issue in the future.
If you 100% KNOW that you want a graduate degree later, then obviously you should get the highest scores possible. But for the rest of us, "C's get degrees" is applicable.

Comp II is an annotated bibliography. There is no actual paper to write.
