Very interesting. I was trying to find more details on the transfer credit policy specific to the program. At the bottom of the program page it states:
Quote:No more than 30 credit hours of previously completed MSU graduate coursework may be counted towards the D.Eng. program.
The catalog does have guidance for transfer credit from regionally accredited institutions into graduate programs, but the language seems written around programs other than the DEng. If credit from other schools were accepted, the transfer course would likely have to be something well-aligned with the curriculum of course options at MSU for the program.
In-Progress

PhD, Computer Science, Dakota State University
MS, Data Science, Eastern University
Enrolled; Not Started
MA, Organizational Leadership, University of Maine at Presque Isle
MEd, Instructional Design and Educational Technology, American College of Education
Saving for Later
MS, Management Science & Engineering, Stanford University
ALM, Extension Studies in Systems Engineering, Harvard University

From another page in the catalog: "Residence credit is awarded for all MSU coursework, whether completed on campus, online, or at regional campus centers. Transfer credit may not exceed one-third of the total requirements for master's degrees, education specialist degrees, the Doctor of Education, and graduate certificate programs. Transfer credit may not exceed fifty percent of the total requirements for the Doctor of Engineering program."
Seems like there would be good transfer credit potential for folks with master's degrees in aerospace or systems engineering or business. Of course, how generous or restrictive Morehead State would be in applying its published guidelines is hard to say without someone going through the transcript evaluation process.

The systems engineering degree allows for 24 units of electives that can be from transfer credit.
It also requires an undergrad and/or masters degree in engineering or technology management, so business people would likely not qualify.
