Most common majors (Bachelors)
#1
I was searching for common majors at the Bachelors level and came up with a few sites...
And one of them looks like a "copy" or link to a Study.com lesson!  Interesting indeed...

What's your guess to the top 3?  There are so many industries to choose from.
My guess is in this order... Business, Health sciences (Nursing), IT.

Once upon a time I might have said that Psychology and Education would have been on that list, but I don't think it's true anymore.

I prefer this list because it breaks down each major individually instead of lumping multiple majors together in broad categories. Two business majors are still at the top.

This is just the most common majors. Nothing about graduating.

This is actual degrees conferred which means students graduated. Big difference between a major and a graduate.

The Georgetown report referenced by the list was published in 2015, but it used Census/ACS data. In other words, it's supposed to represent everyone with a bachelor's degree (not necessarily current trends). In any case, here are the most common majors according to the 2019 ACS 1-year estimate (over 3,000,000):
N/A (less than bachelor's degree): 250,004,832
Business Management and Administration: 4,627,076
Psychology: 3,569,305
General Business: 3,460,180
Nursing: 3,382,779
General Education: 3,020,660

Or the 5-year estimate (2015 to 2019):
N/A (less than bachelor's degree): 250,593,452
Business Management and Administration: 4,427,801
General Business: 3,316,502
Psychology: 3,316,502
Nursing: 3,119,787
General Education: 2,990,158
Ongoing: MLIS

Please read the thread title and the OP. I'm not understanding your response. The thread is most common majors at the baccalaureate level, not most common completed degrees. The link I shared comes from the OP. Anyway, this list was compiled using data on conferred degrees. It's just broken down by major, not broad fields of study.
