A long time ago (really only 5 months ago) in a land not so far away I took the social sciences and history CLEP and surprised the crap out of myself with a score of 70, 6 college credits, and a euphoric head rush. I dropped any and all thoughts of b & m college cosa nostra style usury and decided that TESC was the answer.
I soon began to say to myself "ummmm... err... what do I have to take?" I hit up the TESC website, poured over the course catalog and alas! They have all of their degree requirements and exam course equivalences in there for all to see. I did what many of us have done to track our progress before enrolling and putting ourselves on the clock; I made a spreadsheet.
At first this spreadsheet sucked. It was hard to read, inputing new tests was a PITA, and it barely served its purpose. After screwing with it for the past 5 months I think I've done OK. I've attached it here so that all of you can download it, modify it for your respective majors, tweek it, make it better, and make it work for you. Enjoy!

My time in the Estados Unidios Guarda Coasta provided me with about 50 something odd free electives credits so there's no need for FEMA at this stage of the game. Believe me, if I wasn't a USCG vet I'd be FEMA'ing like a mofo.

94steve,
I followed you lead with the degree plan. I actually got mine unofficially approved with TESC. This will be for my 2nd Bachelors. I will work on this one slowly since I will be concentrating more on the Masters degree.
Tell me what you guys think.
Sorry my CLEP / DSST scores aren't as impressive as yours, I'm working under the "A Pass is a Pass" concept.

I highly recomend sticking a FEMA in there for free electives as they're free. Actually, anything could go in there that's cheaper than the EC course.
I'll let you know where the high scores come from. I went for my FDNY refrigeration machine operator's license back in July and that test is a real mother. It is also worth at least 20k in annual earnings and costs $285 to take. My prep for that test was intense and it was total overkill. I passed with flying colors and around the time I passed I started CLEPping. Not wanting to waste $100+ and 6 months on these tests, the tradition of steve-study-overkill continued. I like to prep to the point that when I take the test, I feel as though it is a joke. So essentially, my scores a product of me being neurotic about failing :-)

94steve,
I maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought you said you were a Veteran "Estados Unidios Guarda Coasta". Why aren't you using your GI Bill for the CLEPs?
Unless you are a veteran of another country.
Also, I don't need to take FEMAs since I have plenty of electives with my Army transcripts. I need to take the other course from Excelsior to finish up the BSLA with them. Army TA is paying for it so it free. Except for the $35 book.
I did do about 30 FEMAs but just for GP.
