Today I tested out my first DSST exam. Wow...what is relieve. I want to share my thoughts about these tests with other fellows, so posting this.
I have been taken classes at B&M community colleges for 4 years, mostly, 1 class per semester, until I found about about CLEP & DANTES and decided to go for it. First few weeks passed by just reading about successful stories from others and how easy it and blah..blah , so could not focus on studying. I couldn't even decide what exam to take first.
Anyway, I started studying for Ethics in America, DSST and must say I over studied. I studied for over 1 month, which i think is not what most of the people here did. But, finally today I took the test and passed. Got 437 out of 500. I guess not bad. I will post some exam questions i remember in specific exam feedback.

I think it best if you study longer especially when taking the first exam. You started with a difficult exam and aced it, so hats off to you! cheersmate

Congratulations on your success, Jeff! I too am taking one class per semester at the local CC. I've decided my first CLEP will be Sociology, this summer. After researching on the forum for a "less challenging" exam this one seems fit for my first one. I don't know that any of them are going to be "easy", though, certainly not for me.

Congrats! Yep, the first exam is the most stressful, but it is such a great feeling when you've passed and then you know for sure that testing out is a completely viable option.
