Once you are enrolled at UMPI, you need permission to bring in additional outside credits. They're generally okay with this, and do give permission, but there are no guarantees. I'd complete as much as possible before applying.

I've been working on finishing my Comp Sci degree, and my daughter is in her last semester of Comp Sci at the University of the People.

That's correct, I would recommend OP to stay on their current track and complete the UMPI degree, it's a public/state institution and OP's almost complete. There really isn't a need to go anywhere else as UMPI YourPace is a very good competency based program, it's self paced. Depending on how fast OP can finish, it may cost them just two terms at $2800 total.
