I've hated all of the free credit courses, so I put my last one (the NFA one) off for quite some time. I thought their ACE accreditation ended next month, which is why I decided to work on some of my paid courses first. Today was going to be the day I started it, but when I visited the website it said that there is no ACE recommendation for the course. Does it always have that listed, or did it just recently expire?

That's the issue everyone brings up. The NFA site shows that there is no ACE recommendation but that is just an error or oversite on their part. Always verify through ACE. The ACE site shows that it is still available for credit.

Sorry guys, I definitely should've checked through the ACE website first.
I'll try to turn this thread into something useful once I finish the course. Anyone else still need to take it?
I'm trying to register now right now but one of the required fields is to select a domain.
My options are:
NWCG = National Wildfire Coordinating Group courses and Federal Wildland Fire Fighters.
USFA = United States Fire Administration's National Fire Academy (NFA) courses.
I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to select the second one but I wanted to be sure this wasn't asking me if I'm a part of the NFA or something. I don't want to get in trouble lol.
Another question: did you guys have to request a FEMA SID before registering?

All work and no play tires the brain! You better know I still play Fortnite every day, as long as I'm still getting these essays written!
