It looks like NYU is offering its MS in Cybersecurity online for part-time or full-time. They are offering a 75% scholarship/discount at this time. Might be a good opportunity for those looking for a prestigious name at a cheap price.

Thanks for the share. Might do this instead of finishing my MS-Cybersecurity at TESU. However, I don't (yet) have the required calculus or data structures credits. I wonder if they'll be okay with SDC for those as long as they're on a TESU transcript.

Yes, I agree, a 75% discount with the fellows scholarship is very appealing as the total comes to around $17K USD.

You should be fine with a TESU degree, one of our members was able to get the scholarship.
Note: I am not sure if she took the bulk of her courses in the AOS through Study.com or at TESU
But they also grad with a BS Data Analytics in addition to a BA Comp Sci/Math double major

I know NYU is prestigious, a friend's daughter went there to become an actress, I'm sure she's amazing. But are they well-known for their cybersecurity program?? I'm guessing they aren't.

Maybe not but Graduates of the program have an average starting salary of $120k. There’s probably only a handful of programs out there of similar value. An in state university MS is going Run at least that. If you’re spending $80k then yes there are more well known options. For $17k. Who cares if it’s not top 10.

For anyone wondering, Georgia Tech's Online MS in Cybersecurity is about $10,000 total.

I agree, but not everyone is going to get into every program they apply to. It’s good to have 3-4 choices.

This is exactly my thinking. I will be admitted to the TESU MS after the BTM program, but I may end up going elsewhere. Georgia Tech and NYU are possible destinations. TESU isn't a terrible choice, but other options may be cheaper/better/more well-known.
