Hey guys!
This past summer I was on my way to taking a few CLEPs.. well, due to my lazy nature, that did not happen. This time, however, I'm taking this seriously (finally).
I'm getting ready to take the Natural Sciences CLEP soon, perhaps in 1-2 weeks. I've spent this past week, on and off, watching an almost six hour video on youtube that supposedly prepares you for the test. It's been alright, giving an okay rundown of many introductory concepts for Bio, Chem, Physics etc.
What's been shocking to me is how much I remember. It's really not that much, but more than I thought I would. I am currently technically a second-semester sophomore in college, but due to cramming in credits, I am a first-semester junior. I took all science classes throughout high school like many others and the most notable thing would be that I took AP Bio my senior year and passed with a 3, believe. (Thankfully that was the minimum my college accepted). So it's been cool to see that I remember the names and concepts I learned two years ago.
Thus, I believe that I can take this CLEP with only a week or two of studying. I'm using free resources only, because the college life and budget sadly do not encourage the purchase of REA or InstantCert or anything. So, I guess my question is, has anyone taken this CLEP lately? Any tips for studying resources/what you remember was on the test?
Thank you!
