Need Help Organizing CLEP and DSST Tests in terms of difficulty
#1
Hi guys i was wondering if someone could help me organize the following tests in terms of difficulty. i am aware that the term dificulty is very subjective, so what am looking for is your opinion on it.

It would also be of great help, if some one could aid me organizing these, into groups bassed on smilarity, so i can draft out a study plan.

The reason i ask is because i am from india, and i have to travel to singapore to take these tests. I plan to take a month or two to prepare for each test, and then test them out in chunks of 12 per week. since its not economically feasable for me to travel frequently to singapore. Smile

The tests i have to take are as follows :
CLEP Introductory Business Law
CLEP Principles of Management
CLEP Principles of Marketing
DSST Organizational Behavior
DSST Principles of finance
DSST Management Information Systems
DSST Ethics in america
CLEP Principles of Microeconomics
DSST Priciples of Statistics
CLEP Humanities
CLEP Nautal Sciences
CLEP Social Sciences and History
CLEP Introductory Psycology
CLEP Biology
CLEP History of the US I
CLEP History of the US II
CLEP Western Civilization I
CLEP Western Civilization II
CLEP Introductory Sociology
CLEP American Govt
DSST Principles of Supervision

Any help would be greaty appreciated Smile I need to get my degree as soon as possible. Smile

I give my sincere gratitude in advance, thank you so much.

I don't know much anout the business test, but if I were you I would start out with Intro to Sociology, then Intro to Psyc. These go good with Social Science and History so I would then put all the history in that same group that would be 7 test then maybe add in the American Govt.
Maybe someone else could suggest your next move.

Taking 12 at a time...wow. Ok. Well, like Linda said, you will probably want to group similar subjects together. I also don't think it is necessary to spend a month per exam for study time. That means you are only taking 12 exams per year. I think you could do it in considerably less time.
On your list, I will rate the ones I have taken or studied for 1-5 (5 hardest) however, I would expect that US History and American Govt. will be considerably more "new" to you.

DSST Priciples of Statistics- 5
CLEP Social Sciences and History- 2
CLEP Introductory Psycology- 2
CLEP Biology- 5
CLEP History of the US I- 3
CLEP History of the US II- 3
CLEP Introductory Sociology- 1
CLEP American Govt -3

Here is a previous post that talks about exam grouping that may be of use:

Also here are 2 sites that you can look at for exam grouping:

I have not taken all of these so this is just my opinion (u can see what I've taken so far below), but personally I would group them as follows. Does not matter which group you do first-whatever you are most comfortable with. I like to intersperse the easy and hard ones...:

Group 1
CLEP Introductory Sociology (it's the easiest)
CLEP American Govt
CLEP History of the US I
CLEP History of the US II
CLEP Western Civilization I
CLEP Western Civilization II
CLEP Social Sciences and History (a little bit of everything incl. history, sociology, Economics, and Psych so u could use it as a high level intro to those topics, or do it after them)

CLEP Humanities
CLEP Introductory Psychology (before or after Biology)
CLEP Natural Sciences (before or after Biology)
CLEP Biology

Group 2
DSST Management Information Systems (can go anywhere)
CLEP Principles of Management
DSST Principles of Supervision

DSST Organizational Behavior
DSST Ethics in America
CLEP Introductory Business Law (before or after Ethics)
CLEP Principles of Marketing
DSST Principles of Statistics
CLEP Principles of Microeconomics
DSST Principles of finance

Just my 2 cents...

I felt intro to Sociology and intro to Psychology were fairly easy I am studying now for Social Science and history and find that more difficult. I am not a good history person I mix up peoples names and time lines. For me Science and math are easier. Someone else would be just the opisite so it depends on your strengths and weaknesses
