Need help completing Sociology at TESC
#1
I need 8 free electives. Can be from clep etc or from TESC

I need 13 sociology electives. Doing the drug and Alcohol one on instant cert still need 10 more so any advice would help quite a bit.

Last and dreading this part.....I need either Sociology research methods or stats. Not great when it comes to stats.

Lastly I need Social theory.

Will have my degree after this. So any advice is great advice.

There's a Social Science and History CLEP. I haven't heard much about this one though: CLEP: Social Sciences and History

Maybe some DSSTs you can see if they will count as Sociology or Free Electives for you would be Intro to Educational Psychology, Fundatmentals of Counseling, General Anthropology, Intro to World Religions.

Last and dreading this part.....I need either Sociology research methods or stats. Not great when it comes to stats. I did ALEKS stats and it really wasn't that bad. I ended up putting 40 hours into it.

Lastly I need Social theory.

Will any fema credit count towards the 8 I need? I read the fema post and I'm currently enrolled for the coming semester. How much would it cost for them to evaluate the 8 credits?

I attached the list TESC gave me of the FEMA credits they accept. It is not an updated list; some of the ones listed no longer exist. There are still plenty to choose from though. You might want to do the ones named "Leadership and Influence" "Effective Communication" etc. They just look a little better than "Lifestock in Disasters" unless you want to be a vet. Wink Although I must admit I did do that one.

It cost me a grand total of $0 for my 21 FEMA credits. Awesome, I know.
