You could use them as either free electives of applied professional. 30 of these is roughly equal to a year of traditional school....but you can do 30 FEMA in a long weekend. So it would be like doing 1/4 of your degree for free....and zipping through it at lightning speed.
....note that not every degree plan has that much wiggle room, but a learner designed area of study would.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

I'm on the same journey, I've been reviewing the flashcards while taking a course at Strayer (waiting now on the registrar to transcribe my Grade) With the flash cards and some choice books from REA and others you can really knock out some of your credits fairly quickly. I'm taking business majoring in HR and I've got to find 60 credits in Arts and science for which the CLEP and DSST exams will be very helpful. If you have a background in business Excelsior may grant you credit for your Series 6 and some others. I may be worth talking to an advisor there. Do you have any college credits from any other institution as these can be transferred in along with certain Military training courses. Let us know how you get along where you decide to enroll and what your experiences are.
Don't forget that gaining college credit by taking exams is one of the reason's we're here. That's mainly possible through the flashcards made available by the owner of this forum :
InstantCert Plus of course your hard work in learning and reviewing
