So the answer to people not finishing their degree is to disenroll them to make sure they can't continue?

This is exactly what I was thinking. This policy has nothing to do with completion rates and everything to do with being a money grab for Excelsior.

It just shocks me that schools have a good thing that works (COSC is my favorite example) and then go and intentionally ruin it.

It's disappointing to see the shift in Excelsior University's recent approach, making it challenging for students to graduate. From my personal experience, when I compared Excelsior University and TESU, I found EU to be superior in almost every aspect during my time there. It was more affordable as there wasn't a residence waiver fee, the course duration was shorter (8 weeks compared to 12 weeks at TESU), and the support was better. I particularly appreciated the helpfulness of every EU advisor who assisted me in obtaining recommendation letters from professors. It was the opposite of my experience at TESU, where I struggled to get any responses from professors when I reached out for recommendation letters. I really don't want it to turn in to another COSC...
