Oh them!? Breyer's been around for at least two decades... I should have notified U of I years ago... Way back when I looked at these degree/diploma mills, they were already scamming people. For some reason or another, they've infiltrated an institutions program subsite since 2002 (U of Illinois) and have a FAQ setup, detailing their facts and figures (fake accreditations) and using Apostille or Notary options to make it look real. That’s not Breyer having infiltrated the University of Illinois. Rather, it’s retired University of Illinois physics professor and anti-degree-mill activist George Gollin having archived an old Breyer site on his site for research purposes.

Research purposes, eh? OK I guess, but it's like my link to the site, it's somewhat like advertising Breyer... I wonder if we should get them to remove it, I've always wondered on that... As long as prospective students are diligent and don't fall for their tactics, that's all I need to know and that's the only thing we can do, is to remind them there are fake schools that prey on prospective students...

By the way, the school that came in first was a state university. The second? A raging diploma mill that sold diplomas from a PO box in Louisiana and advertised for years in the classified ads section of USA Today. Why? I think it was because the diploma mill SOUNDED good, evoking the term "state university" in its name. (Needless to say, it was not.) If you had someone's resume and didn't bother to look up the school, it sounded like a real state uni.
