Now, it certainly could be $37,000 per year. That’s about right for this degree. Very close to Prairie View’s DBA and a tick under the UT-Dallas and University of Houston DBA’s, which makes sense given the respective institutions.
This is my grand finale in this thread. The tuition fee clocks in at just over $12,000 per year, and this isn’t a guess—it’s a solid fact straight from McCoy's program coordinator as of August 29th. Farewell and good luck!
This doesn't sound right. An AACSB DBA for $12,000 per year? That's cheaper than South College, which has neither AACSB nor ACSBP secondary accreditation AND cheaper than their own MBA. Sounds like someone is trying to drum up interest by underreporting the actual cost a bit. There's got to be a catch somewhere...
$12k per year would be a steal, but more likely $12k per semester = at least $72k in 3 years

Need help with portfolios? I earned 18 credits at TESU through portfolio evaluations. Nine of those were for upper level accounting courses. My advice for PLA/portfolios:

Using Straighterline's Financial Accounting as a substitute for TESU's Intermediate Accounting I? Don't do it if you are an accounting major and/or want your CPA license. They are not the same course and I think TESU has erred in accepting the SL course as Intermediate I. I made this discovery here:

It has been excellent so far.
Completed two 8 week courses in the Fall. In the Spring, first 8 week term had 2 courses, and second one has 1.
There was one optional opportunity to meet the cohort face-to-face in San Marcos. Most people attended with a couple more calling in on Zoom.
Cohort has a good mix of ages and different jobs/backgrounds (large and medium sized corporate, entrepreneurship, IT, finance, etc.). A few participants are full-time college faculty and need a doctorate to be on the tenure track.

Outside of academia, most employers have never even heard of AACSB, much less know anything about it or make distinctions regarding it.
Almost all of the top B-schools in the U.S. carry AACSB accreditation. But that's more of a correlation than cause-and-effect. Employers will or will not be impressed by the source of the degree, but will be utterly clueless regarding programmatic accreditation in business.
Inside academia, it is nearly "de regueur" in order to teach at other AACSB-accredited B-schools.
